Citadel Technology Solutions
Citadel Technology pride themselves on harnessing the power of innovation to revolutionize healthcare practices. Their work at the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH) exemplifies this commitment. A traditional challenge in medical education – the live observation of surgeries – has been transformed by their AV network. Traditionally, training surgeons would gather around an operating table, straining for a glimpse of master surgeon’s technique. The networked AV solution eliminates this outdated approach, delivering live or recorded content from the operating room to any location with internet access. By integrating advanced AV technology, Citadel have redefined VHH’s approach to medical procedures and education, creating an immersive, interconnected, and technologically advanced healthcare environment.
Umow + Wooster
Court Services Victoria (CSV) emphasised this project would be a template ‘court-of-the-future’, incorporating a new operating model. As consultants, Umow + Wooster held extensive stakeholder workshops involving client and design team members to resolve how technology would support operations across every facet of the project. To ensure a highly coordinated and effective outcome, a mix of techniques including virtual reality modelling, bench-testing and physical prototyping were used for the audio visual elements. The design approach supports the following initiatives which provide CSV with a high-performance, easy-to-use, reliable, secure and future-proofed building: the adoption of hybrid court hearings and e-courts; the multi-jurisdictional use of courtrooms; and infrastructure that is truly modular, able to be repositioned easily to suit new functionality.

The Electric Canvas
The Electric Canvas designed and installed an innovative projection mapping solution for the heritage-listed Old Perth Gaol, situated in the central courtyard of the WA Museum. Their initial challenge was finding suitable projector positions from a technical projection standpoint that not only satisfied heritage legislation, but also the museum’s architectural and aesthetic requirements. After several rounds of study work, a solution emerged to bring the projectors indoors to WAM’s ground level corridors with 6-metre-high floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the Old Gaol and the Dance Circle below. The Electric Canvas was able to meet and overcome the many challenges that faced them throughout the duration of the Old Perth Gaol projections project. Whilst other companies may have been unable to provide the services required during WA’s strict Covid-19 lockdown, their team found a way to navigate through it and successfully installed, programmed and commissioned the system on time and on budget.
