Audio Visual Technician (Mulloway Recruitment) – Installation

An exciting career opportunity to work on the installation of high-end integrated systems incorporating the latest in audio visual technologies. Projects include AV systems in classrooms, lecture theatres, government facilities, and corporate offices. As an audio visual installation technician, you will be a key member of the project delivery team, installing system infrastructure (cabling), control systems (Extron, AMX, Crestron), displays, amplifiers, speakers, and touch panels. Rack building and network infrastructure will also be part of larger projects. You will work with the latest AV technologies used in enterprise and education settings, alongside a professional team to get the project delivered. 

Skills Required

A strong understanding of integrated AV systems is essential to succeed in this role. Experience installing a wide range of AV technologies in commercial environments as well as knowledge of cabling and cable terminations for low voltage systems is required. Experience of rack building for AV systems would be beneficial, as would exposure to AV over IP networks. A white card is essential; working at heights certificate and open cabling licence would be beneficial. CTS or CTS-I certification will be highly regarded. Alongside your hard technical skills, a positive attitude to work with a high level of pride in the quality and finish of your installations will see you fit well into the team.
