Audio Visual Technician / Programmed

The Role
Due to rapid growth in our Brisbane office, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team for AV installations, service, support and maintenance. Support for vendor specific training and career paths into operations and technical teams are available to the successful candidate

Key Responsibilities

  • Audio visual equipment installations in commercial environments
  • Installation and fit-off of data cabling
  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting complex AV systems
  • System commissioning
  • Seeking applicants who can start immediately and have the right to work in Australia
  • Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for commercial installation works for education, corporate and government clients

Skills And Experience

  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Good knowledge of current Audio Visual standards and requirements
  • Relevant trade certifications or vendor qualifications and minimum 3 years field experience
  • A current full driver’s license
  • Service and fault finding of installations
  • Proven experience working in a corporate environment
  • Open ACMA registration licence is preferable
  • Excellent presentation, communication and computer skills
  • Experience with a wide range of technology manufacturers eg. Crestron, AMX, SVSi, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Poly, Cisco etc
  • Experience with UC platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams is highly desirable
  • Network experience a plus

You must have a can-do attitude with strong written and verbal communications.  An attractive pay package, uniform and training will be offered to the right candidate.
