PRIME VIEWS: BROADCAST DISPLAY LAUNCH
Broadcast display company Primeview USA is unveiling its latest in OLED technology and HD-SDI connectivity at the NAB Show in Las Vegas this week.
The studio quality large format 55-inch OLED display (pictured) provides a dynamic viewing solution for broadcast studios, offering superior color and motion clarity with true black reproduction, a refresh rate at .001ms and a nearly infinite contrast ratio, the company says.
The new HD-SDI (high definition serial digital interface) embedded 55-inch LED LCD video wall features a super narrow 3.5mm total bezel, and daisy chaining capabilities that allow broadcast studios to natively connect on-set video walls to their legacy technology infrastructure, with the lowest levels of video signal latency.
The HD-SDI feature is used particularly in the broadcast industry thanks to its ability to reproduce video content at the highest level of video excellence, the company says. As there is no digital copy protection inserted in the signal, it makes HD-SDI that much easier to integrate into projects that require broadcast quality.
“Leveraging nearly two decades of advanced research and development, Primeview is bringing two new solutions that can genuinely benefit NAB attendees,” says senior vice president Chanan Averbuch.
“As we say goodbye to plasmas, OLED ushers in a new era of quality displays for Primeview’s global broadcast clientele. For multi-display arrays, our HD-SDI embedded video wall solutions are bridging the gap between legacy connectivity and cutting edge LED technology.”
