Vivid Sydney is inviting creative industry professionals from Australia and around the world to put forward their best and brightest ideas for Vivid Light 2015. The event will be held over 18 nights from 22 May to 8 June next year with industry leaders, creative companies, artists and students collaborating to provide innovative lighting and projection designs and installations around Sydney’s iconic harbour.

More than 40 installations and sculptures will be selected to create the Vivid Sydney Light Walk, stretching from the Sydney Opera House through to Walsh Bay, and organisers say they need to showcase artistry, technology, sustainability, accessibility and innovative thinking. They can free standing, aerial, fixed or mobile, but will be viewed by more than a million people and often thousands at a time so scale and placement are critical.

Submissions are open for the design and manufacture of sculptures and installations, as well as for the supply of design, lighting equipment, laser equipment and projection equipment. Applications close on Friday 3 October, 2014 and you can find applications forms and more information can be found at Vivid Sydney.
