AV INSTALL + INTEGRATION (AVII) EXPO 2015 A SUCCESS

The vision to create an Information Communication — Infocomm Technology platform in New Delhi across the Pro AV, Broadcast, and Enterprise IT sectors, was realised successfully, generating enthusiasm among professionals across these sectors.

AVII 2015 was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of IT and Education, New Delhi, Shri Manish Sisodia.

Fulfilling the need of AV Consultants and System Integrators and IT systems analysts, the response was highly motivating for all exhibitors and participants. Over three days from August 6-8 a total of 2,085 unique trade professionals attended the expo and the Tech Forum. The response to the AV Tech Tour to the Kingdom of Dreams was overwhelming and commended by the participants.

AVII Expo and Tech Forum provided for the first time, a dedicated convention for video capture, projection, display, digital signage and pro audio integration products. The applications covered IP broadcast, Enterprise IT, leveraging 4G OTT on screen-shift television for corporate and education multicast.

Industry Associations’ and media support to the AVII and Tech Forum was positive, firmly implying the necessity of sourcing solutions and product technology for the audiovisual integration projects in all Infocomm sectors across media & entertainment, broadcast, telecommunication. BES, IETE, AIBMDA, EEMA, CIO Klub, AES, ESAI participated contributing with delegates and speakers in the AVII Tech Forum.

One major focus for AVII was government agencies’ imperative to ensure projects are supported with the latest technology, AV Consultancy meeting global standards in design and implementation with high-end quality equipment. Intensive interactions and liaison resulted in delegates from Digital India, NIC, Prasar Bharti, BSES, STPI, IT Ministry.

The Tech Forum presentations by leading consultants was tremendously successful – Sunny Sarid from Sound of Music, Ashutosh Ahluwalia – Sonic Foundry, Vijay Sabhlok – AV Evangelist, Gagan Varma – Lifesize, Rajeev Arora – Qubix Technologies, A. R. Chandrashekhar (CS) – Anuvin ICT & AV Consultants, Karan Kathuria – Music Group, Mayank Gaurav – Alphatec, Warren Dsouza – Sound.com, Bharti Dhingra – Cinnamon, Mohammed Haaris – Harman (AMX), Pravin Kumar – Epson India and N. M. Mehra – Visual Technologies India.

AVII 2016 is destined to respond to the growth impetus across sectors with large investment by government and private enterprises. The Digital India initiative — governance integration, education, transportation, building & infrastructure, defense, security, attracting huge investments require the entire gamut of products from leading global brands.

AVII 2016 has been acknowledged as the one platform at Pragati Maidan in the capital city providing access to all technology ranging from audiovisual installations, audio video integration, dynamic display & projection, 3d holographic projection, augmented reality to audio networking & monitoring. Also, Connect — Command — Control systems on the IT delivery platforms.

A critical aspect of digital India and smart cities is developing information communication on audio video integrated systems. In respect of surveillance and IT AV enterprise networking, India needs the latest technology required by police, CBI, security agencies, defense & institutions nurturing critical technologies.

AVII established certified training, technical workshops, standards and quality parameters, demos and recognition of excellence in AVII. AVII focused on the needs of technology managers and developing human resource for the audiovisual industry in India to progress.
