Dicker Data DAS

Dicker Data introduce their new security distribution service, Data Access and Surveillance (DAS). DAS is a distribution destination for security businesses.

Handling a wide range of products, the DAS team is made up of technical experts who help customers design, configure and deliver best-practice access and surveillance solutions. The team is made up of certified, knowledgeable people meaning Dicker Data are able to offer higher quality service, technical assistance, and design solutions to customers. It also allows for faster order turnarounds through their 9 branch locations around Australia.

As there is a compressed transition timeline, DAS will be operating at significantly reduced capacity for the first 2 weeks of business, from Monday 2nd May to Monday 16th May 2022. During this period, longer than usual wait times for trade counters, phone queues, and outbound freight should be expected. For urgent and critical supply during this period, contact your Account Manager or State Manager well in advance. This will enable the team to ‘hand-hold’ critical orders.

Customer Accounts

• All Hills Security and IT customers have automatically been provided with a DAS account. Keep an eye out for either a welcome email, or an email from their team providing your new account details.
• For those Customers who have Credit facilitates with Hills, DAS will be providing a Credit Novation Form to be signed and returned to accounts@dickerdata.com.au
• For those Customers who have existing Dicker Data accounts but wish to increase credit facilities to accommodate DAS business, please contact accounts@dickerdata.com.au 

Customer Backorders

• All existing open orders will be transitioned from Hills to DAS on 2nd May 2022
• The supporting vendor/supplier purchase orders will be transitioned at this time, meaning ETAs for existing backorders remain the same.
• The sales teams and structures have remained largely the same since the business has transitioned to DAS.
