Trade association InfoComm International is asking members of the AV community to help develop content and present at the Integrated Systems Europe 2015 trade show’s professional development sessions.

The education offering is expected to surpass previous years with growing audiences and a greater depth of topics – as well as the continuation of a free-to-attend scheme introduced this year where attendees were eligible for two free sessions. The presentations attracted more than 950 delegates, according to the association and ISE co-owner.

“The fact that our professional development offering at ISE is drawing a wider audience than ever is great news for the global AV community,” says InfoComm’s chief global officer Terry Friesenborg. “It means that company representatives who successfully submit presentation topics can be assured of increased awareness before, during and after ISE 2015.”

The closing date for submissions is coming up on July 31 and InfoComm is looking for presenters in three categories. The first is classed as ‘regular’ professional development seminars targeted at AV professionals and is divided into three sub-categories: basic (delegates with little or no knowledge), intermediate (two-plus years’ experience) and advanced (five-plus years’ experience). These sessions will be 50 minutes long although longer durations will be also be considered.

The second category is the special sessions for education technology managers introduced this year, aimed at technology managers in higher education. The final category is master classes, a new offering to be introduced in 2015 aimed at experienced AV professionals with eight to 10 years’ experience or more. These in-depth technical or business-related sessions will be two hours long and are expected to be attended by highly skilled and informed delegates.

ISE 2015 will be held in Amsterdam on February 10-12, and you can submit suggestions for any or all of the categories using InfoComm’s online Call for Presenters form here.
