Lumens Digital Optics Inc. is launching the VS-KB21N controller for NDI HX remote cameras live video preview. The built-in 3-inch LCD monitor gives the operator real-time video display for each camera, making device control more intuitive and more accurate.
VS-KB21N is part of an extensive range of Lumens NDI equipment which includes HD and 4K PTZ cameras, auto-tracking cameras, encoders and decoders, multi-channel media processors and lecture capture systems.
With power over Ethernet (PoE), the VS-KB21N controller and all remote NDI cameras can be connected over Cat5 or Cat6 network cables. This makes installation cost effective and very fast, especially in live event scenarios and outside broadcasts.

VS-KB21N supports camera control protocols including NDI, VISCA, VISCA over IP and ONVIF, with connection over Ethernet, RS-232 or RS-422, making the unit compatible with professional IP cameras from a range of manufacturers. Power is via DC or over the network (PoE), giving installers the flexibility to connect and power the unit with a single Ethernet cable.
