PEOPLE POWERS RECOGNITION FOR CTS

Corporate Technology Services has been recognised for its strong focus on its people by being nominated as a finalist at the annual Australian HR Awards. The bespoke audiovisual services company celebrated 15 years in business this year and is in the running for the Employer of Choice (1-99 employees) category.
For CTS, the nomination is vindication for several initiatives brought in over the last two years, according to Managing Director and Founder, Duncan Lugstein.
“We have always had a holistic approach in developing our team as both professionals and people,” he said. “Recently, there has been a drive from everyone in the business with a new Values system and Employee Bonus Program put in place, just to name a couple of initiatives. We are very excited by this nomination and see our people as the key reason behind our success.”
This recognition comes on top of being named as the Best Onsite Audio Visual/Video Conferencing Services Provider (Australia) in the BUILD Facilities Management Awards.
The Employer of Choice category recognises businesses with a wide-ranging emphasis on initiatives in areas such as remuneration, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and employee satisfaction.
In the recent HR Survey, CTS registered an overall satisfaction rating of 86%, with many employees noting a family focus and friendly team culture as reasons behind why they enjoy working for CTS.
“We are proud to see success stories within the business with a number of our people promoted to leadership positions,” Lugstein said. “Our growth in many ways can be put down to the diversity of our team — we have a variety of backgrounds, not just those from a pure audiovisual background.”

The Australian HR Awards will be held on Friday September 8th at The Star in Sydney.
