23 May 2018

Aside from the NetworkHD 600 Series, WyreStorm plans to put a number of its solutions on display at InfoComm 2018.

H2XC Series

Launching Q3, WyreStorm has taken the incredible power and flexibility of our current 10×10 and 16×16 H2X Series 4K HDR and integrated audio matrix switchers and given them the modular treatment with the new H2XC Series, featuring a choice of matrix chassis and transmission options supporting 18Gbps HDMI content and 4K/60 4:4:4 with HDR over both HDBaseT to 70m and multimode fibre up to 300m, offering integrators the utmost in AV distribution and control versatility whatever their application.

The result is a single flexible and fully customisable matrix solution that replaces what would have been several solutions before.  Currently the H2XC is only multi-I/O audio visual matrix device available capable of delivering full-bandwidth 18Gbps HDMI content over both copper and optical transmission mediums whilst handling up to 48 discrete audio source devices to 16 DSP-managed audio zones.

New meeting and huddle space solutions with touchscreen control

WyreStorm has expanded its presentation switcher offering with three new products designed for the small meeting room and huddle space applications and touchscreen control compatible with all its presentation switcher models for solutions not just for the enterprise but the SMB as well.

  • EX-SW-0401-H2-PRO unique 4×1 professional HDBaseT 4K presentation extender kit for video conference and meeting room environments that turns a huddle room into a collaboration space instantly, and at a price every business can afford.

EX-SW-0301-H2 Smart Switching Extender

Designed as an ideal solution for any meeting or huddle space requiring multi-participant presentation and collaboration, the EX-SW-0301-H2 offers logical, autonomous operation and presentation flexibility that completely does away with the need of a control system. As a smart switching extender, the 0301 features both manual and automatic switching between any of its connected HDMI, VGA with audio and DisplayPort inputs.

A transmitter can be mounted exposed on or under a desk/meeting table for ease of laptop or PC connectivity, with the receiver installed behind a display or above a projector where it can also automatically activate projector screens or room curtain/blinds via dual conditions-based relay triggering.

HDCP 2.2 compliant, the EX-SW-0301-H2 transmitter and receiver are connected via HDBaseT, supporting transmissions of 4K 8-bit at 60Hz 4:2:0 and 30Hz 4:4:4 to 35m or HD up to 1920x1200p 60Hz 12-bit to 60m, with WyreStorm’s Active Optical HDMI cables providing an ideal means of delivery get the most from 4K devices and content.

The 0301 receiver itself automatically scales incoming content to the capabilities of the connected display device. The receiver also features one-way PoH power to the transmitter for less cables and connectors cluttering up the meeting space, line-level audio output for connection to external amplification, and CEC, RS-232, IR and IP (TELNET) control, with relays that can all be set to engage based on transmitter auto-switching.

The EX-SW-0301-H2 is set to feature a web UI for effortless setup, configuration and operation, and compatibility with WyreStorm’s new TS-280 touchscreen wall-plate controllers, for even less need for the added cost and complexity of a control system, and even greater functionality for the modern meeting/huddle environment.
