ZeeVee ZyPer4K HDMI Module
Integrating AV and IT technology, ZeeVee Inc. introduces a plug-in module to enable an Ethernet switch featuring integrated HDMI connectivity for video sources, including the capacity to distribute uncompressed 4K/UHD and HDR content. The module, designated ZeeVee ZyPer4K HDMI, simply plugs into the NETGEAR switch chassis, providing a robust solution for industrial, commercial and residential applications. Each ZeeVee module accommodates up to four HDMI sources; multiple modules may be used in the same switch.

ZeeVee ZyPerMX2 two-channel IP encoder
Continuing to its line of AV over IP components, ZeeVee is also introducing the ZyPerMX2, a two-channel IP encoder for distributing two independent HD sources over IP networks employing 1GB or faster switches. The product encodes and distributes HD video content up to 1080p @ 60Hz and supports both multicast and unicast UDP and RTP encoding, making it a cost-effective solution for most corporate and commercial HD video-over-IP applications. It can also pass through up to four channels of embedded audio in Linear PCM, MPEG-1 Audio Layer 2 and other formats.

ZeeVee ZyPer4K Silent decoder
Also announced is the ZyPer4K Silent decoder, featuring an innovative fanless design that reduces noise in locations where the hum of a fan is problematic. In addition, it eliminates a source electrical noise that can affect the performance of connected video displays. Like all ZyPer4K encoders and decoders, the ZyPer4K Silent decoder has a 10Gb Ethernet connection, as well as a 1Gb network port, that enables it to be used with any IP network device such as digital signage media players, IP cameras and video/audio conferencing equipment.

ZeeVee ZyPer Management Platform 2.0
ZeeVee also introduces ZyPer Management Platform 2.0, which includes new multiview capabilities, tools for more rapid deployment, APIs for the industry’s most popular third-party control systems, expanded administration functions for user access and security and the ability to configure and control video walls as large as 81 screens. It is designed for use with video networks employing ZeeVee ZyPer4K, ZyPerUHD and ZyPerHD product lines. Third-party control systems include ones from Crestron, Barco Overture, Control4, RTI and Q-SYS, as well as continued support for SAVI and DTVGameControl.

Zeevee has also opened an office in Singapore, its first company facility in the Asia-Pacific region, to better serve the rapidly growing commercial and residential AV market in Southeast Asia. Ricky Tan will be leading the operation as regional sales manager for Southeast Asia. The new office will focus on several regional markets including Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. It will offer pre- and post-sales technical support while also working to educate the market about the company’s advanced IP-based video distribution solutions for a wide array of applications.
